National Sugar Institute invites applications for various courses

Kanpur: As the sugar industry is growing with the advancement of technology, also there is a growing demand for many aspects of the sector. For many courses, National Sugar Institute, Kanpur, Ministry of Consumer Affairs, Food and Public Distribution, Government of India has invited applications from eligible candidates who wish to seek admission for the academic session 2020–21.

These are the job-oriented courses, which emphasis on Skill Development. It includes the Alma mater of students from more than 15 Countries. The course also offers attractive Scholarships and Stipends. Also, there are opportunities for overseas employment. According to the reports, the alumni placed at higher positions globally.

F.N.S.I. in Sugar Technology or Sugar Chemistry

ANSI(Sugar Tech) for FNSI in Sugar Technology or Sugar Chemistry, ANSI(Sugar Engg.) for FNSI in Sugar Engg.& DIFAT for FNSI in Fermentation Technology. Application for F.N.S.I. in Sugar Technology & Sugar Engineering should be sponsored by a sugar factory for carrying out the research pertaining to this course. Similarly, application for F.N.S.I. in Fermentation Technology should be sponsored by a distillery or brewery industry for carrying out the research work pertaining to this course. Unsponsored applications would be rejected.

3. Foreign category candidates are not required to appear in entrance examination. Their admission is purely on first come first serve and merit based subject to fulfilling the essential educational qualification & other conditions. 4. Age limit for the foreign category candidates for the courses at S. №1–9 is 38 years as on 1stJuly 2020 and 50 years for the courses at 10–12. For Indian students the age limit for the courses at S. №1–9 is 35 years as on 1stJuly 2020 and 50 years for the courses at 10–12.
