Avantika Saraogi appointed as Executive Director of Balrampur Chini Mills Limited

Avantika Saraogi has been appointed as the Executive Director of Balrampur Chini Mills Limited (BCML), effective from January 1, 2024. BCML is one of the largest integrated sugar mill complexes in India, with core businesses in sugar, bio-ethanol, and renewable power. Avantika will oversee the sugar and distillery businesses, continuing to lead the agricultural vertical, managing various aspects from cane operations to sustainability. Mr. Vivek Saraogi, Chairman & Managing Director, expressed confidence in Avantika’s ability to uphold the company’s values and drive it forward, emphasizing her commitment to shaping a new era for the business. Avantika aims to carry forward the rich legacy of her late grandmother, Smt. Meenakshi Saraogi, and her father, industry stalwarts in the sugar sector.
